OS Data Hub developer resources

• Client: Ordnance Survey
• Challenge: Support the UK location data community’s adoption of the OS Data Hub, a new data API serving vector and raster datasets
• Solution: Created documentation, code examples and tutorials, conducted webinars and press interviews to promote the OS Data Hub
• Results: Shipped dozens of pieces of technical content through OS Data Hub launch, dozens of stars + forks on Github repos, three month contract extended four times

Blockchain for Scaling Climate Action

• Client: World Economic Forum
• Challenge: Investigate and highlight the potential of web3 technologies, such as crypto and blockchain, in accelerating action on climate change
• Solution: Co-chaired the WEF's Web3 Climate Action Working Group
• Results: Co-authored a white paper published by the WEF and shared extensively

Stable Seas

• Client: One Earth Future Foundation
• Challenge: Analyze and visualize heterogeneous data related to the maritime security situation in sub-Saharan Africa
• Solution: Analyze large dataset of AIS shipping patterns to estimate economic cost of maritime piracy; design and develop interactive map interface for Stable Seas project
• Results: Co-author, State of Maritime Piracy 2018; inaugural launch of the Stable Seas Maritime Security Index, supporting regional and international maritime governance efforts (IMO, UNODC)
